Technology and Assessment Coordinator

All positions must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Responsibility:

Work with staff and students to develop and integrate technology and multi-media skills in daily instruction and learning. Coordinate and oversee student testing and assessment.

Duties:

  • Support teachers and students in developing technology skills to enhance learning.

  • Maintain and manage the server and all technology tools and devices in the building.

  • Coordinate the technology committee and write the technology plan.

  • Develop technology budget and recommend annual upgrades and changes.

  • Deliver staff training in areas of technology.

  • Coordinate testing administration and reporting for MCA and FAST.

  • Coordinate quarterly report cards, printing and distribution.

  • Provide technology support for all school programs and events.

  • Oversee school calendar and other NCCS promotional materials.

  • Manage and maintain student management system, NCCS website, social media, security system (cameras and doors), staff passwords and fobs.

  • Oversee erate applications and funding.

  • Learn and use some Ojibwemowin.

  • Attend all training, staff meetings, committee meetings and any assigned after-school hours functions.

  • Recognize and follow confidentiality of information regarding students.

  • Be positive and respectful with students and staff.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the director.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a 2-year IT certificate (BA preferred)

  • Experience working in public school IT departments preferred, but not required.

School Counselor 

NCCS is seeking a licensed school counselor. Duties include crisis management, group skills work, elementary school career exploration, working with the school therapist and home/school liaison to meet students’ needs. Minnesota School Counselor License and is open until filled. Background and drug tests required. All positions require board approval.

Licensed Elementary Teachers

NCCS is seeking licensed elementary teachers to serve as academic interventionists and classroom teachers. Interventionist positions to start as soon as possible. Classroom positions to start the second semester. If you want to make an impact teaching, join our team! Base pay is $46,680 plus benefits. These positions may lead to full-time positions in 2023-24. Paraprofessionals

NCCS regularly seeks full-time paraprofessionals. Starting pay is $16 per hour and up depending on qualifications. Paraprofessionals work in the classroom as teacher assistants or with special education students. Background and drug tests required. All positions require board approval.
